I was born 23 years ago in a country fondly referred to as the “Pearl of the Orient”. Although I was not born in the town I grew up in, we moved there not long after my birth and it is the one place I always call home. My parents named me after a character in a TV show my mom used to watch. It wasn’t because she liked the character per se, she just really liked the name. The funny thing is, it only became my nickname and my full name is far from it. But you would have to know me to know what it is.

Because I always find it difficult to write a witty and interesting description of myself, I have decided that I would use this page instead to write a little something about me every now and then. If you visit my page enough, maybe you’ll get to know me eventually or at least get a glimpse.

Here are 10 things about me: 

(1) I love the summer.
(2) I love to read and I spend a long time trying to decide what book to buy.
(3) I love to dance but I’m not particularly good at it.
(4) I take at least an hour to get ready. I’m a girl, it comes with the territory.
(5) I wear my heart on my sleeve – I’m transparent that way.
(6) I only drink coffee in the morning and only a cup which I find difficult to finish most days.
(7) I’m not particularly fond of hamburgers although I don’t mind it once in awhile.
(8) My favorite Baskin Robbins ice cream flavor is currently Jamoca Almond Fudge but I absolutely love the coffee crumble from Selecta.
(9) One of my favorite books is The Time Traveller’s Wife.
(10) I cannot live without chapstick.
